SUBMISSIONS
Born & Bred accepts submissions from photographers documenting youth culture, underground scenes and subcultural movements around the world.
We welcome both emerging and established photographers whose work reflects lived experiences, identity, community and environment. Submissions are reviewed on an ongoing basis and selected projects may be featured within the Born & Bred archive or editorial features.
What We're Looking for
We are interested in work that explores youth identity, underground communities and the cultural movements shaping contemporary life.
This may include photography documenting:
- Youth culture
- Underground music and rave scenes
- Skateboarding communities
- Street fashion and style
- Graffiti and street art
- Independent creative communities
- Protest and political movements
- Nightlife and club culture
- Everyday life within subcultures
Submission Guidelines
Submissions may consist of a small series of images or a wider photographic project.
Both ongoing and completed projects are welcome.
- Submit 5-15 Images
- Images should be in JPEG format
- Minimum width of 2000px preferred
- File Size: Under 10MB per image
How Submissions Are Reviewed
Submissions are reviewed regularly by the Born & Bred editorial team.
Selected photographers may be contacted for further images, interviews or editorial features.
Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we may not be able to respond to every entry individually.

Photographers retain full copyright of their work at all times.
By submitting images you confirm that you own the rights to the photographs and grant Born & Bred permission to review and potentially feature the work across the Born & Bred website and social platforms with appropriate credit.
